20th September - two Alpha courses are running at the Rectory. 9.15am all welcome, 7.30pm - Men only. These will continue each week for ten weeks. If you have missed the first one but would like to join, please ring the Parish Office.

Thursday 30th November 7.30pm - (St Andrew's Day) Friends of St Andrew's (Fosta) will be holding a Gala Concert. with star attraction João Paulo Ferreira and his invited guest musicians, with piano accompaniment by Claire Tester.
Originally from Brazil, João Paulo, a counter-tenor now living in Portugal, has sung in concert venues all over Europe thrilling audiences with his lively performance and beautiful voice. His guests will include local young musicians of exceptional talent with their futures firmly focused on the stars. Between them all, they want you to share and enjoy a varied evening of classical music that crosses cultures from the eighteenth century upwards and includes the UK premiere of two songs by AntonioVivaldi.

Sampson's Almshouses Farnham - Trustee needed:
Sampson's Almshouses is a registered charity which provides homes for 20 people in 16 housees. Most residents are women over pension age, who can live independently. For further details contact the clerk by emailing email@example.com
Bach to Baby 10.00am for coffee, concert starts at 10.30am. Tickets £10 per adult, children and babies free.
From September Bach to Baby will meet on Thursdays.
Music While you Munch These popular organ recitals being held on the second Tuesday of each month at 1.10 to 1.45pm. Enjoy listening to organ music while eating your lunch. There is no charge for these concerts. Delicious home-made soup with rolls are normally on offer, in addition to tea or coffee. Donations to a fund for development of music activities at St Andrews welcome. Recitals for 2017 are:

Friends of St Andrew's - Fosta is a society who support the church by raising money for practical purposes. They welcome new members.
St Andrew's Bellringers: We are a small but enthusiastic group of bell ringers endeavouring to keep the traditional art of bell ringing alive. Neither age, sex or strength is a bar to becoming a good bell ringer. If you would like to join us or just to see what it is all about, please come along to one of our Tuesday evening practice nights held from 7.30pm - 9.15pm in the tower.
Book Club meets in the Parish Rooms 19.45 to 21.30. Please do join us, even if only for the books you like the look of reading!
Baby & Toddler Time - especially for Mums & Dads & their little ones, every Monday during term time (except bank holidays) in the Pavilions - 9.45am- 11.30am. Further details from Marjorie Carrington care of the Parish Office.

Singing for peace: Heather Golding will be “Singing for Peace” in church on Wednesday morning at 11.30 am and Friday afternoon at 2pm for approximately 45 minutes. All are welcome to drop in and listen. Heather has a beautiful style of singing. Sometimes she is joined by friends, including Caroline Walker, a poet, and St Andrew's congregation member.
Women’s Breakfast - Do join us for continental breakfast followed by an informal talk; normally the first Saturday of the month. For details contact the Parish Office.
St Francis Circle - meets every 1st Monday of the month at St Francis Hall, 2.30 - 4.00pm. Details: care of the Parish Office.
Study Group: The Tuesday Study Group is moving to Thursdays at 12 midday in the Parish Rooms (coffee from 11.40, sandwich lunch afterwards). It runs on the First and third Thursday of each month.
Meditation - A quiet hour of Meditation in St Andrew’s 6.45pm for 7pm 3rd Tuesday each month Further details Mandy Marshall in care of the Parish Office. Sessions last for approximately one hour.
Knit and Natter every Monday except 4th Monday in the month please bring your own knitting or knit for a charity or just come for a natter in the Parish Rooms at 1pm - 2.30pm. Everyone welcome. On the 4th Monday we go for a pub lunch - please contact Maureen Grew via the Parish Office.
