Notices
St Andrew's Tuesday Groups meet on the first Tuesday of the month and recommence on Tuesday 6 May at 11.45am and 7.45pm.
Storytime for pre-school children 8 May 2-3pm (see details below)
Coffee Morning - Saturday 10 May 9:30-11:30. Free coffee, tea and squash along with good conversation, lovely cakes, an interesting selection of books and Fair Trade goods make it a welcome start to the weekend! For further information please contact Mary Haines in care of the Parish Office.
Potters Gate School Spring Fair Saturday 10 May 2-4pm
Pentecost/Dedication Festival Sunday May 11 The Parish Communion will begin at 11am and will be followed by lunch. If you would like to attend Lunch Tickets are available from members of the Social Committee. Adults £5 Children £2.
Christian Aid Week May 11 - 18 There will be a service at St John’s Church Hale at 6.30pm on May 11 to mark the beginning of this week.
Blind Club Teas Monday May 12. Please contact Serena Hutchinson in care of the Parish Office if you are able to assist with sandwiches, scones, cakes, etc. ‘Journey to Justice’ Sunday 18 May. A coach will be going from Farnham on the 18 May to Birmingham for the event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jubilee Debt Campaign. FoStA AGM 22 May 7.30pm in the Pavilions. There will be a talk on Thomas-a-Beckett before the meeting as a taster for the outing to Canterbury on Saturday 14th June. All welcome.
2008 Farnham Arts Festival An exhibition of Patchwork Quilting will be held in St Andrew’s Church on Friday & Saturday 23-24 May from 10am-5pm. Admission is free.
Women's Breakfast Saturday 7 June 9am (see details below).
St Andrew's Book Club Monday 9 June 7:45-9:30pm with coffee and biscuits. We will be talking about The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This is a good chance for people to get to know each other better and enjoy a lively discussion - no degrees required!! Further details from Mary Haines or Barbara Milam in care of the Parish Office.
Traidcraft Please contact Mary Haines in care of the Parish Office if you wish to order any Traidcraft goods. A stall will be at the coffee morning on the second Saturday in the month and occasionally in church on a Sunday.
Daily Bible Reading If you are interested in reading the bible on a regular basis but don't know where to begin, consider subscribing to either New Daylight or Guidelines. To learn more visit Bible Reading Fellowship or contact Revd Joy Lievesley who organises subscriptions for the Parish.

Baby & Toddler Time - especially for Mums & Dads & their little ones, every Monday (except bank holidays) in the Parish Rooms - 10.30am - 12noon.
Story Time - for pre-school children, a story, worship & play on alternate Thursdays during school term time in the pavilions 2-3pm. Forthcoming dates: 8 and 22 May, 5 and 19 June, 3 July.
Seven Up Youth Group - for Year Seven's and above, meet monthly.
Prayer Group - Every 1st and 3rd Monday Evening, 8 - 9.15pm at 6 Beavers Road. Prayer for the parish followed by a hot drink. Everyone welcome.
Prayer Chain - In case of emergency please phone the Parish Office.
Women’s Breakfast - held bi-monthly on the first Saturday of the month in the Pavilions at 9am. It is an opportunity to meet others in the Parish on an informal basis and make new friends. Forthcoming dates: 7 June, 2 August, 4 October, 6 December. All welcome!
St Francis Circle - meets every 1st Monday of the Month at St Francis Hall, 2.30 - 4.00pm
Book Club - Monday evenings (see following dates) in the Pavilions 7:45-9:30pm. An informal and friendly group, do come along.
