St Andrew’s Church is open every day. We all need some peace and quiet to meditate and pray. The Parish church is a wonderful oasis of peace - please use it.

Lent Groups begin in the week commencing 27th February and run for five weeks. We are proposing to run groups on every week day at a variety of times and locations. Please contact the Parish Office for details. Groups are also run by Farnham Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church. All are welcome.

24th February 7.30pm Friends of St Andrew’s (FOSTA) will be holding a quiz night on 24th February. Teams can be up to 8 people. £11 per person (includes Ploughman’s Supper). You are invited to bring your own drinks and glasses. Tickets available from the Parish Office.
25th February 7.30pm Bishops Meadow Trust are holding a fund raising concert with Hart Male Voice Choir and featuring Barfield School Choir, at St Andrew’s Church, Farnham, on Saturday on 25th February at 7:30 pm.Tickets are on sale at £10 from: Bishops Meadow trust c/o Kidd Rapinet, 17 South Street, Farnham
Piano Players Is there anyone in the congregation who would be able to help out on the rare occasions where Frances Whewell is unable to play at the 9am service at St Francis? Frances would like a couple of people whom she could call upon when she is unable to play. Hymns would be given ahead of time and with plenty of notice. Please contact Frances or the Parish Office .
Bell-ringing If anyone is interested in joining the bell-ringing team please contact Ian Boyd-Livingston on 0776 525 8458. Musical ability is not a prerequisite!
Heather Golding will be “Singing for Peace” in church on Wednesday mornings at 11.30 am for approximately 45 minutes over the next few weeks. All are welcome to drop in and listen. Heather has a unique but beautiful style of singing.
Sidespeople - The Churchwardens are looking for 2/3 new sidespeople to assist them just once a month on a Sunday morning. The sidespeople fulfil an important role in helping the Sunday services flow without a hitch and by maintaining a welcoming link to church members and visitors. Please contact the Parish Office for further details.
Coffee Pot open weekly on Saturday mornings from 10.30 - 12pm (no longer 10am) and that as well as selling second hand paperback novels we also want to sell small new unwanted presents and home produce as well as cakes. Donations very welcome from the congregation whenever they can do so!
Book Club meets in the Parish Rooms 19.45 to 21.30 on the following dates. Please do join us, even if only for the books you like the look of reading!

Parish Groups
Baby & Toddler Time - especially for Mums & Dads & their little ones, every Monday during term time (except bank holidays) in the Pavilions - 10.00am - 12noon. Further details from Jacqueline Wood care of the Parish Office.
Youth Church - for year seven & above will meet once monthly on the second Sunday of each month. Details from Parish Office.
Prayer Group - Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday Evening (except August), 8 - 9.15pm at 6 Beavers Road. Prayer for the parish followed by a hot drink. Everyone welcome. Further details: Morna or Andrew Partridge in care of the Parish Office. Prayer Chain - In case of emergency please phone the Parish Office.
Women’s Breakfast - held bi-monthly on the first Saturday of the month in the Pavilions at 9am. Details: Diana Martin or Barbara Haworth in care of the Parish Office. Please note that in both April and June this will be on 2nd Saturday of the month.
St Francis Circle - meets every 1st Monday of the month at St Francis Hall, 2.30 - 4.00pm. Details: Kath Squirrell in care of the Parish Office.
First Tuesday Groups - meet every first Tuesday of the month to read the Bible, discuss what is read and hopefully be a little wiser from God’s word. Meet at 11.45am followed by lunch or 7.45 pm with coffee/wine in the Pavilions.
Meditation - A quiet hour of Meditation in St Andrew’s 7.45pm for 8pm 3rd Tuesday each month Further details Mandy Marshall in care of the Parish Office. This group will recommence in the spring.
