About the Church

St Andrew’s is an Anglican parish church. It is part of the Church of England’s Guildford Diocese and shares its vision of "Responding to the Liberating Love of God in Christ". At a local level, St Andrew’s seeks to do God’s work in partnership with other Christian denominations through Churches Together in Farnham.

Clergy include the Rector of Farnham, Revd Andrew Tuck and Curate Revd Joy Lievesley. St Andrew's musical director and organist is Stephen Lacey. The Clergy work together with a ministry team who work voluntarily in various roles. These include Churchwardens Maureen Grew and Steven Knowles, the Parish Church Council (PCC) who meet monthly, and four Pastoral Assistants who carry out visits throughout the Parish: Mary Haines, Serena Hutchinson and Linda Pink.

The Clergy are always glad to know of the sick, housebound and others who would appreciate a visit. Please contact the Parish Office if we can help.

There are a number of people and groups who work together to build up the life and fabric of the church. These include, but are not limited to the Archivist, Bellringers, Children and Young People leaders, Choir, Electoral Roll officer, Finance committee, Flower Guild, Friends' of St Andrew's, Mission and Outreach, Parish Office staff, Parish magazine and website teams, Servers, Sidespeople and the Social committee. We also have an active weekly rota of volunteer Cleaners who keep the church looking at its best.

If you would like to become involved in any of these areas or learn more please Contact Us.
